Reiki Practitioner Training, 1st Degree Usui System Of Natural Healing
*Please read entire description prior to checkout* Dawn Leith Dougherty is a Reiki Master-Teacher trained in the Usui Shiki Ryoho system of natural healing and has been a Reiki practitioner for 14+ years and is a practitioner in the Distant Healing Network (DHN) and in the International Association of Reiki Professionals (IARP).
Dawn offers Reiki practitioner training and the appropriate attunements for Levels 1 (Shoden), 2 (Okuden), and 3 (Shinpiden). This listing is for First Degree Shoden training and attunements in the Usui Shiki Ryoho, the Usui System of Natural Healing. I can train practitioners all the way up to the Master-Teacher level. Level 1 training will consist of about a day and a half of hands-on practice and class work. You will receive 4 attunements with guided meditations spaced out in this time. You will receive a thick manual covering as much as possible for this level, other handouts and notes, as well as an embossed certificate for framing. I give very in-depth training, I do not skip or gloss over anything, I do not do “drive-thru” Reiki training for instant gratification. I do not give multiple levels in a class or a weekend, and I am against this method. I will not train over the internet nor do distance attunements. I take serious students who wish to make this life-changing energy healing a welcome and habitual practice for self-improvement in their daily lives. The attunement process is a sacred and very special ritual and is to be treated with respect and reverence and will never be given distantly.*
What to expect: Anyone at all from children to adults has the ability to do this work! You are already a channel for Universal Life Force simply by being an alive person. Reiki training will hone this skill, empower you, and teach you how to use it. Level 1 Reiki attunements and training focus on physical and self-healing. This training will help activate your natural energy channel to prepare you for doing hands-on healing for yourself and others. You will be able to lay hands on humans and animals, as well as objects and food, homes and workplaces, etc. You will have the knowledge and ability to channel Universal Life Force at any time, which can enhance your life in only positive and helpful ways. The 4 attunements you receive help facilitate your own cleansing and healing to prepare you for being a clear and open channel for energy healing! You will embark on a path of healing and empowerment for yourself, and know that you will be excited and open to continuing to learn, grow, and study this fascinating modality for a lifetime. You will leave the class feeling empowered and full of ideas on how to enhance and improve your life with Reiki. It will be a truly eye-opening and life-changing experience! As your Reiki sensei (teacher), you will have the benefit of receiving support and guidance from me at any time for the rest of your life if needed, including for free '“booster” attunements if you feel like you would benefit from them. If you haven’t had a Reiki table treatment before, I highly suggest you schedule one with me beforehand, so that you can get the full experience of a session and how it feels, and what to expect. If you pay for Level 1 training then want to schedule a table session, you will receive a half-price rate, as an upcoming student! We will cover this in our personal conversations. If or when a Level 1 student is ready to further their training, we will discuss next level training and attunements together in depth, and schedule classes at that time. Levels 2 and 3 are when you will learn Reiki symbols and how to use them, including the Power symbol, Master symbol, Distance symbol for distance healing, among others. You will not be taught symbols in Level 1.
*Levels 2 to 3 Master-Teacher level will only be taught by me to a person who has taken my Level 1 class. If you have had prior training from another teacher in the Usui system, but wish for me to continue your training, I am happy to do so. I will discuss this with you and we will figure out the appropriate way to proceed. However, know that since I did not train you from Level 1, you will most likely need to take at least an abbreviated Level 1 class from me, depending upon how you were trained and by whom, what attunements were given to you, as well as needing to see your manuals and notes.

Level 2 Okuden: The Second Degree focuses on healing at the mental and emotional level. Reiki Two heals past lives, assists with addictions and clears negative thinking patterns. Distance healing is learned now and practiced. Distance healing includes sending Reiki to someone around the world or just across town. It also includes healing our earlier years in this life as well as the ability to heal our past lives - Yes, healing what might be considered our “Karma.” Students are given three of the five symbols, what they mean, how they function, and how to use them. The “lamp” is cranked up to its next level of wattage and light.
Level 3 Shinpiden: The Third Degree focuses on health and healing on the Spiritual Soul level and the teaching of Reiki. We literally turn the work over to God, our Guides, or the Highest Intelligence - whatever term is most comfortable to you. We learn together that we are no longer in charge of the treatment and never really were in charge. The last two symbols of the five are taught. The lamp clicks on to its highest wattage of light. Now the student will be keenly aware that they are the conduit for fine and light electrical energy. The student learns how to teach the three degrees and the attunement to others, although no one is required to teach. The student does commit this life to the highest good.” Tina M. Energy does not observe "time," so healing can be sent across distances in an instant, as well as past or future timelines in order to heal past traumas, or to a future situation, for example, a scheduled medical procedure to calm and relax and help facilitate healing, or a job interview for which you need clarity and calming of nerves.
