This ancient bog oak is 7,000 years old! This bog oak, from the Fens of Western UK, has been recovered after being buried for thousands of years in English bogs. From 5,000 BC when the rivers rose, flooding the Fens and capturing these huge old growth oaks preserving them to be resurrected and painstakingly cured and dried for use as fine furniture and more.
