Native style, six hole flute in the key of F# minor. Hand crafted from a solid blank of incredibly figured camphor wood, with beauty rings of crushed red jasper and rose quartz at the mouth and foot end. The classic style block/bird is crafted of camphor on a camphor nest, with a bloodwood core. It also features my signature hand burned morning star with inlaid red jasper center. The block is secured with laces of contrasting deer hide. It is highly buffed and finished with many coats of a hand rubbed, natural oil and wax finish for a lustrous shine with no added acrylic or lacquer.
This lovely flute has a huge and resonant sound, warm and inviting character, very responsive and bright which projects well. This is a beautiful flute which will garner admirers! The overall length is 22-1/2" with a 7/8" bore and weighs 7 oz. The flute comes provided with a hand sewn fleece draw string bag for storage and protection.
