Native style, six hole flute in the key of G minor. Hand crafted from a solid blank of increasingly rare and highly-figured, naturally-colored red flame boxelder, with fully-tenoned mouth and foot caps of bloodwood. The classic style block is crafted of bloodwood with a red flame boxelder core and sits atop an inlaid bloodwood nest. It also features my signature hand burned morning star with inlaid red jasper cabochon. The block is secured with laces of contrasting color deer hide. This mid-range key of Gm flute has that definite WOW factor! It is finished with many coats of a hand rubbed, natural oil and wax finish.
This strikingly figured flute has a nice bright and loud voice, very responsive with excellent backpressure, and lends itself well to performers who love to push their flutes! It has a rich voice that projects very well, and has great stage presence. This flute plays like a dream, and will definitely get you noticed! The overall length is 22-1/2" with a 7/8" bore and weighs 8 oz. The flute comes provided with a hand sewn fleece draw string bag for storage and protection.
