Native American Style Flute, Curly Makore wood Key of Gm from Tree of Life Designs

Sorry, this item has sold.

Native style, six hole flute in the key of G minor. Hand crafted from rich, beautifully figured exotic curly makore wood with fully tenoned end caps of beautifully-contrasting red flame boxelder.

This striking looking flute is bored from a solid blank of makore wood. Topped with multiple, hand rubbed coats of 100% natural oil and wax finish for a gentle, warm glow. The flute also features my signature hand burned "morning star" with inlaid abalone cabochon center below the sound hole. The classic bird fetish is crafted from naturally-colored red flame boxelder. The bird is secured with laces of red and tan contrasting deer hide leather and sits atop an inlaid red flame boxelder nest.

This is a stunning looking flute with a very bright, vibrant voice. It plays warm, but loud, and projects well with great stage presence and excellent backpressure. The overall length is 21-1/2" with a 7/8" bore. The flute comes provided with a hand sewn fleece draw string bag for storage and protection.
