Bamboo Low F#m Sideblown Native Style Flute from Tree of Life Designs

Uniquely crafted Native style flute in the key of Low F#m. Made from heat treated, locally harvested golden bamboo with Ed's special "galaxy" patterning. Mouthpiece tube is crafted from white oak. The block and nest are crafted of white oak with a red flame boxelder core, and is secured with contrasting deer hide laces. A mother of pearl cabochon is inlaid just beneath the nest and serves as the center for my hand burned "morning star". The mouth end features an inlaid carved shell "flower". The mouthpiece is crafted to be sideblown for ease of play for such a large, low flute!

This Flute is FUN to play, and a great addition to any collection with it's low and mellow and resonant voice. Overall length is 43". Length from the blow tube to the bottom hole is 24" and the maximum finger spacing is 1.5" from center of holes, with offset finger holes for ease of play. Bore is approximately 1-3/4". Layout is for a right handed (right hand low) player. The flute weighs 23 oz. This flute may not be well suited to someone with very small hands/fingers.
