Mahogany Key of High Bm Native American Style Flute, Tree of Life Designs

Native style, six hole flute in the key of high B minor. Hand crafted from mahogany.

This warm and inviting looking flute is line bored from a solid blank of old-growth mahogany with a lovely "burnt sienna" natural color. This flute features a fully tenoned mouth cap made from maple with a yellow pine beauty ring. Topped with multiple, hand rubbed coats of 100% natural oil and wax finish for a gentle, warm glow. The flute also features my signature hand burned "morning star" with an inlaid mother of pearl cabochon below the sound hole. The classic style bird block is crafted from maple with a yellow pine core and sits atop a maple nest. The block is secured with laces of contrasting deer hide leather.

This is a really fun and classy looking flute that begs to be played, and has sweet, clear, and loud voice, that projects very well as is expected from a high key flute. It has a great stage presence and excellent backpressure. The overall length is 18-1/2" with a 3/4" bore and is very light and weighs 5 oz. It has an easy and comfortable reach for all players. The flute comes provided with a hand sewn fleece draw string bag for storage and protection. All flutes are shipped FREE Priority Mail with signature required and insurance.
