Native American Style Flute,Hawaiian Albizia Key of Gm from Tree of Life Designs

Native style, six hole flute in the key of G minor. Hand crafted from lovely and warm Hawaiian albizia wood, with fully tenoned end caps of beautifully-contrasting purpleheart wood, with maple beauty rings.

This sexy looking flute is bored from a solid blank of albizia wood, related to mimosa and monkey pod. Topped with multiple, hand rubbed coats of 100% natural oil and wax finish for a gentle, warm glow. The flute also features my signature hand burned "morning star" with inlaid abalone center below the sound hole. The claw style bird block is crafted from purpleheart with a red cedar core. The block is secured with laces of black deer hide leather and sits atop an inlaid purpleheart nest.

This is a sweet looking flute with a large voice. It plays with a resonant and clear tone, and projects well with great stage presence and excellent backpressure. The overall length is 19-3/4" with a 7/8" bore and weighs 7 oz. It has an easy and comfortable reach for all players. The flute comes provided with a hand sewn fleece draw string bag for storage and protection. All flutes are shipped Priority Mail with signature required and insurance.
