Native American Style Flute, African Wenge Key of E, Tree of Life Designs

Beautiful Native Style flute in the key of E from Tree of Life Designs. Bored from a solid blank of nicely grained African wenge wood and trimmed with fully-tenoned mouth and foot caps of padauk with maple beauty rings. The stylized bird/block is made from padauk with a wenge core on an inlaid padauk nest, and is secured with tan and chocolate brown deer hide. Finished with multiple coats of hand rubbed, food safe natural oils and waxes.

Below the inlaid nest is a colorful abalone cabochon that centers my hand burned morning star. This nicely balanced flute measures a total of 24" in length with a 1" bore diameter. The flute weighs 12 oz.

Tuned to an E minor Pentatonic scale the voice is warm, responsive, resonant, and projects well. The flute has great action and fantastic stage presence, just beautiful! All of my flutes are currently provided with a hand sewn fleece draw string bag for protection. All flutes are shipped Priority Mail with signature required and insurance.
