Native American Style Flute, Blue Gum Eucalyptus Key of D#m, Tree of Life Designs

Beautiful Native Style flute in the key of D#m from Tree of Life Designs. Bored from a solid blank of dense blue gum eucalyptus wood and trimmed with fully-tenoned mouth and foot caps of purpleheart with walnut and maple beauty rings. The classic style bird/block is made from purpleheart with a holly core on an inlaid purpleheart nest, and is secured with black and tan deer hide. Finished with multiple coats of hand rubbed, food safe natural oils and waxes.

Below the inlaid nest is a colorful abalone cabochon that centers my hand burned morning star. This solid and nicely balanced flute measures a total of 25" in length with a 1" bore diameter. The flute weighs 16 oz. This flute is very balanced but a bit heavy, for those who have issues with flute weight.

Tuned to a D# minor Pentatonic scale the voice is rich, mellow, resonant, and round with a haunting quality. It is a real looker, a beautiful flute to hold with amazing stage presence. All of my flutes are currently provided with a hand sewn fleece draw string bag for protection. All flutes are shipped Priority Mail with signature required and insurance.
