One of a kind Native Style flute in the key of E minor pentatonic from Tree of Life Designs. Crafted in a hybrid style using bamboo and wood that gives the player the vibrant qualities of bamboo with the much fuller tone of a wooden flute

This lovely bamboo flute is crafted from a solid blank of locally harvested, well seasoned and heat-treated bamboo. This flute features a mouthpiece and inlaid nest of beautiful figured bootee wood .The fetish block is crafted from bootee with a mahogany core. An abalone cabochon is inlaid just beneath the nest and serves as the center for my hand burned "morning star".

It sports light tan binding wraps from strong, natural waxed nylon "sinew" cord and uses wand and brown deer hide lacings to secure the block. Finished in food safe natural oils and wax finish for your safety and mine as well as the longevity of the flute. Tuned to a mid E minor pentatonic scale the voice is strong, quite resonant and responsive with a haunting tone, and also has great action for fast playing as well as slow, meditative work. This is a fun flute to play and will make a great performer, as well as being a showpiece. The overall length is 26-1/2".

Soundclip for this beautiful flute:

All of my flutes are currently provided with a hand sewn fleece draw string bag for protection.

*All Tree of Life Flutes are electronically tuned for accuracy. Each is individually voiced for strength and quality of the sound as well as playability. They feature a modest back pressure, play well softly but especially love to be pushed. Each flute I make comes with my concern for your satisfaction in mind. Each is line bored from a solid blank, not split, and finished with natural oils My workmanship and your satisfaction are guaranteed.

**Disclaimer: Some of the flutes that I make are Native American in Style only. My products are not Native made, I am not and make no claims to any Native heritage or Tribal affiliation.
