Beautiful, rich and dark, highly figured walnut burl with turquoise inlay Native style flute, key of Am, by Tree Of Life Designs.

Hand crafted and line bored from a select blank of beautifully-rich walnut burl, and trimmed with inlay bands of turquoise. Features a hand rubbed finish from multiple coats of natural, food-safe, plant based waxes and oils. Features my signature hand burned morning star below the sound hole with inlaid turquoise stone center to match the inlay bands. The classic style bird/block is crafted from a laminate of maple with a walnut burl core, and sits atop an inlaid maple nest. The end caps are crafted from maple above and below the inlay bands. The block is secured with contrasting laces of deer hide leather. This flute is perfectly concert tuned, solid and durable for backpacking and traveling as well.

This is a lovely piece of rich shades of dark and light brown walnut, and looks beautiful with the stone inlays! The flute's voice is silky smooth, clear and pure, highly resonant, with a big and very full voice. The overall length is 18" with a 3/4" bore and weighs 5-1/2 oz.
