Native style, six hole flute in the key of F# minor. Hand crafted from lovely Alaskan yellow cedar with fully tenoned caps and bands of beautifully-contrasting dark brown redwood burl.

This striking looking flute is bored from a solid blank of bright and warm Alaskan yellow cedar. Topped with multiple, hand rubbed coats of 100% natural oil and wax finish for a gentle, warm glow. The flute also features my signature hand burned "morning star" with inlaid abalone cabochon center below the sound hole, and 7 tiny abalone cabochons inbetween the finger holes. The classic style bird fetish is crafted from Alaskan yellow cedar with a redwood burl core, and sits atop an inlaid nest of Alaskan yellow cedar. The bird is secured with laces of contrasting deer hide leather and sits atop an inlaid redwood burl nest.

This is a stunning looking flute with an expressive, vibrant voice. It plays and projects well with great stage presence and excellent backpressure. The overall length is 22" with a 7/8" bore and weighs 7 oz. The flute comes provided with a hand sewn fleece draw string bag for storage and protection.
